The Minnesota Urolith Center, in partnership with Hill’s Pet Nutrition, offers complimentary urolith analysis and evidence-based treatment recommendations to veterinarians globally.
For over three decades, this diagnostic service has been provided at no charge to veterinary hospitals through a long-standing collaboration between Hill’s Pet Nutrition and The Minnesota Urolith Center at the University of Minnesota, College of Veterinary Medicine. Thanks in part to an annual educational grant from Hill’s Pet Nutrition and voluntary contributions from pet owners and veterinarians worldwide, we deliver a valuable service directly to practitioners: precise quantitative analysis of patients’ uroliths.
The application is designed exclusively for veterinarians and veterinary support staff. Accessing it requires an existing account on the primary system located at www.urolithcenter.org. By using the same email and password, users can conveniently monitor recent submission status via the iPhone application, allowing easy retrieval of reports and recommendations whether in the clinic or on the move.
Utilize the primary system to input patient details before submitting a urolith. Then leverage the App to:
- View the status:
- Patient information entered and sample in transit
- Sample received and analysis in progress
- Analysis completed
- Retrieve completed results: send the PDF directly to your electronic record system or to the pet owner.
- Review Recommendations your way: opt for a concise version aiding in prevention strategy planning or a detailed version elucidating the science behind the prevention strategy.
The Minnesota Urolith Center and Hill’s Pet Nutrition bring Urolith Answers right to your fingertips.
